On February 4, 2006, KURT L. BOWIE, JR.; beloved son of Kurt, Sr. and the late Vera and stepmother Angela and host of other relatives and friends. Lil Kurt as he was fondly known will lie in state at St. John UME, 6019 Bell Grove Road, Wednesday 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Christian Wake will be held on Thursday 10:30 A.M. with funeral to follow at 11:30 A.M. at First Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 27 S. Caroline Street. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Services entrusted to the Oden Funeral Services.
