On Saturday, February 4, 2006, ALVERTA J. (nee Cramblitt) wife of the late John H. Lambdin, devoted mother of Gloria L. Charlton and her husband Dr. John L. Charlton, the late John F. Lambdin and his wife Peggy Lambdin, loving grandmother of John Scott Lambdin, Brenda Hitchcock, Dr. John L. Charlton III, Karen Colhauer and the late Dean P. Charlton. Also survived by five great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P. M at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A., 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena where funeral services will be held on Wednesday 12 noon. Interment Oaklawn Cemetery.giving mother and wife suddenly departed this world on February 4, 2006. CATHERINE M. LECOMPTE, beloved wife of Bryan T. Le Compte and devoted mother of Christopher M. Le Compte and Emily Grayson Le Compte. She is survived by her parents: Robert E. and Beverly A. Meehan of Cockeysville, MD; brother, Thomas K. Meehan of Baltimore, MD; brother Michael and his wife Kim of Jarrettsville, MD; sister Michelle and her husband John Mc Donnell of Cockeysville, MD; sister Margie and her husband Jim Fuss of Lothian MD; sister Monica R. Meehan from Charlotte, NC; brother Robert F. and his wife Anju Meehan of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister M. Colleen Meehan and a brother Frank T. Meehan. Cathy loved and was loved by so many, first and foremost her husband and children. Above all, her children are a testament to her. They exude her strength, compassion and zest for life. She was a constant presence and support for her children and their everyday activities. Whether lending support from the sidelines, assisting in the classroom or simply giving a car ride to a soccer game, she was their foundation. One of her proudest accomplishments came later in life with the completion of her nursing degree. She ultimately found her niche in the area of labor and delivery nursing. Her kindness and warm heartedness left an indescribable mark on all those that were fortunate enough to be in her care. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury, MD. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, February 9, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm at Holloway Funeral Home. Following mass, interment will be Friday, February 10, 2006 in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Catherine M. Le Compte Children's Education Fund, Attn: Michele Thomas, The Bank of Delmarva, 2727 N. Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD 21801. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD.
