Baltimore County police seek robbery suspects

Two men wanted in holdup of convenience store last month

Baltimore County police are searching for two men suspected in the robbery of a 7-11 convenience store last month.

Police said that at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 21, the two suspects entered the store in the 1300 block of Francis Ave. in the Halethorpe area and approached the counter. One man allegedly pulled out a gun while the other took an undisclosed amount of money from the register before they both fled the scene.

Authorities describe one suspect as African-American, about 20 years old, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 170 pounds, with a small build. He was wearing a black jacket with a white, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, boots and a red baseball hat. He was also caught on surveillance cameras at the store.

The second suspect is described as white, also about 20 years old, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, with a small build. He was dressed in a black jacket with a fur-fringed hood, a white T-shirt, jeans and boots, police said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Baltimore County police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587). Those calling Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
