GIRLS

STATS -- Queen, the quintessential point guard and captain, has quietly played a key role in the Patriots' 14-2 season. "Anisha provides the leadership that is needed at point guard," Old Mill coach Craig White said. "She does all the little things it takes to win." Queen plays excellent defense, is a good ballhandler and averages five points and 2.5 assists.

SIDELINES -- Ranked No. 6 in her junior class of 618, Queen has a weighted 4.56 grade point average and a cumulative 4.28 over three years. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government Association and Principal's Advisory Council, and is a peer helper. Queen, who is interested in becoming a pediatrician, is leaning toward the University of Maryland. Her younger sister, sophomore Aleah Queen, also plays on the team.
