ROSIE PITCHER (nee Rawlings) passed away at her home in Port Republic, MD on Monday, January 30, 2006 the loving wife of Charles W. Dickie Pitcher, Sr.; beloved mother of Charles W. "Buddy" Pitcher, Jr. and Pamel Gale Matteson; grandmother of Dawn Marie Florance, Charles W. "Skip" Pitcher, III, Christina Price Pitcher, Courtney Elizabeth Pitcher and Michael Anthony Matteson; great-grandmother of Annamarie Gindell and Nathan Pitcher; devoted sister of Gloria Wood, Robert "Frankie" Rawlings, O.C. "Gregory" Carroll and the late Floyd Rawlings and Dottie Kirby. Friends may call at Waters Memorial United Methodist Church, 5400 Mackall Rd., St. Leonard, MD 20685 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
