On Tuesday evening, January 10, 2006, ROBERT ARNETT, 66, of Hallsville, TX, died in a Shreveport hospital. Mr. Arnett was born February 3, 1939 in Mount Olive, North Carolina to parents Willie and Lona Leaverton Arnett. He worked as an environmental technician for General Motors for over forty years and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Mr. Arnett is survived by his wife; Diana Arnett of Hallsville. Son Mike Arnett and wife Tina of Bigsbee, Oklahoma; daughter; Sharon Marie Hains and husband John of Scottsville; son; Gary Lee Arnett and wife Joann of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter; Deana Marie Jones and husband Levi of Hallsville; son; Jimmy Arnett and wife Misty of Royse City, Texas. Ten grandchildren: April, Ryan, Leah, Danielle, Courtney, Madison, Luke, Blake, Alyssa and Autumn and grandson-in-law: Jesse. Seven great grandchildren: Chandler, Ashley, Will, Wes, Grace, Koda, and Jaxon; sisters: Grace Elaine Rapp and Gail Trusdale, both of Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Arnett was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, January 13, 2006, at the Downs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
