On January 4, 2006, EMMA FRANCES WAHL (nee Sengebusch), beloved wife of the late Charles W. Wahl. She is survived by children Bonnie J. Brown and her husband Robert, Karen M. Pearce and her husband Charles, grandchildren William Pearce and his wife Jennifer, Emily Kissner and her husband Steve, Robin Christine Reel and her husband Justin, Sarah Hopper and her husband Matthew, great-grandchildren Zachary, Aidan and Caleb. Also surviving her siblings Betty Grunwald, Ernest Sengebusch, Marie Hykes and Al Sengebusch and a host of other relatives and friends Family will receive friends on Friday, January 6th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC., 1630 Edmondson Ave. (1 mile west of beltway exit 14) where the funeral will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 1 P.M. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.native of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on December 15, 2005 in Stuart, Florida. She attended Baltimore Public schools and graduated from Goucher College where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She had A continuing interest in the college and served as a Goucher Trustee. She was active in civic affairs and served on several boards, including: Baltimore Safety Council, Residential Chair of the United Fund, American Red Cross, and Vice President of the regional United Way. She and her husband, G Douglas Reed, who predeceased her in 1987, retired to Stuart, Florida, in the early seventies. She was active at the Martin County Public Library and served on the Board of Trustees in the 1980's. Later she married Col. Charles C. Walts, a real estate broker. They enjoyed membership in the Crossroads Yacht Club, Yacht and Country Club in Stuart and L'Hirondelle Club in Baltimore. He died suddenly in 2003. She is survived by her children: Carol (Connie) Reed Parr Goldsmith and George D. (Dan) Reed, Jr.; three sisters: Helen Sheats and Anne Almond of Baltimore and Virginia Deaver of Sheridan, Wyoming; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at the Church of the Redeemer, 5603 N. Charles Street, on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers those who wish may send remembrances to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 623 E Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, Fl 34996, or Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34996.
