Baltimore
Western
Victim named -- Police yesterday identified Dwight Watson, 50, of the 5000 block of Corley Road, as the unlicensed taxi driver fatally stabbed Dec. 31 during an attempted robbery in the 2300 block of Ashburton St. Two youths were arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Robbery -- A man, 56, was removing tools from the trunk of his vehicle in the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave. about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday when another male stabbed him in the neck and robbed him of his wallet. The victim was treated at Maryland General Hospital.
Theft -- A 13-inch TV, a VCR and a CB radio - all valued at nearly $400 - were stolen from a 1994 Chevrolet van parked in the 1100 block of N. Fremont Ave. between Dec. 30 and Wednesday.
Eastern
Theft -- Computer equipment valued at nearly $10,000 was stolen between Dec. 23 and Dec. 29 from a storage room at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The theft was reported Wednesday.
Theft -- A 12-gauge shotgun valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from the bedroom closet of a house in the 2600 block of E. Chase St.
Southeastern
Burglary -- Tools and building equipment - all valued at $140 - were stolen Wednesday from a house under renovation in the 200 block of N. Port St.
Baltimore County
Franklin
Burglary/arrests -- Two men in their mid-20s were arrested Wednesday and charged with breaking into a house in the 16600 block of Falls Road that day and stealing a camera and a sword. Their names were withheld pending an appearance in District Court. Police recovered the property.
Burglary -- An autographed photo of the Ravens' Ray Lewis, a baseball autographed by Cal Ripken Jr. and a digital camera were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 400 block of Deacon Brook Circle by someone who entered through a door.
Wilkens
Assaults/arrest -- A man, 46, was arrested early Wednesday and charged with assaulting several people in a townhouse in the 3000 block of Shiloh Court that day. Charged with five counts of assault was Kevin Muir, of no fixed address.
