On December 31, 2005, RUTH A. NEEPER, 87, of Parkton, MD. Wife of the late C. Marshall Neeper; mother of Doris R. Thompson and the late William M. Neeper; grandmother of Anita Snyder and William C. Neeper; great grandmother of Dillon Snyder; daughter of the late William L. and Edna A. (Rosier) Smithson, Sr.; sister of Ruby Thomas, Catherine Herbert, the late William L. Smithson, Jr., the late Richard Smithson, and the late Mary Lou Atkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Ruth worked at the former Black Manufacturing Co. and the former Thomas Manufacturing Co., both of Parkton, MD. She was a member of Parke Memorial United Methodist Church, Parkton, MD. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 4 at the J. J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second Street, New Freedom, PA. Viewing will be 7 to 9 PM, Tuesday at the mortuary. Interment in Stablers United Methodist Cemetery, Parkton, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parke Memorial United Methodist Church Improvement Fund, c/o Ralph W.
