Roch Around the Clock

Sorry for the delay. It took me two hours to find my laptop, which was buried underneath all the wrapping paper. My daughter and I spent most of the night watching season No. 7 of The Simpsons on DVD, after we played The Simpsons' version of the old Operation game. Detect a theme here? She also received the first season of Desperate Housewives. They grow up so fast.

I just gave her a Miguel Tejada chewable vitamin B-12 with her breakfast.

I also had to scold my neighbor's kid earlier for having his finger jammed up his nose. Nice manners. He told me to take my complaints to Green Bay. Something about Brett Favre having more picks than anyone. Punk.

The Orioles have made a correction to their spring training schedule that was released last week. For anyone planning to head south, and I highly recommend it, the March 22 game against the Florida Marlins, listed as being away, will be played at Fort Lauderdale Stadium -- assuming that it's still standing. Starting time is 1:05 p.m.

If you need a cold beverage later in the day, I recommend The Circus Bar and Grill in nearby Pompano Beach. They make a mean chili, too. I suggest the buffalo wing hot sauce instead of Tabasco, first introduced to me by George Richards, who covers the Florida Panthers for the Miami Herald. Everybody needs a friend like G-man. Not a bad reporter, either.
