On Friday December 23, 2005 MARK DAVIDOFF, beloved husband of Miriam Davidoff (nee Mirantz) beloved father of Lynn Davidoff of Budapest Hungary, Amy Davidoff and Judy Drager-Davidoff, both of Baltimore, MD, dear father-in-law of Steven Gore and David Drager-Davidoff, devoted brother of Jean Finkel of Miami, FL and the late Shirley Davidoff, loving grandfather of Alena, Samuel and Shoshana Davidoff-Gore and Abigail Drager-Davidoff. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS HOME, 8900 Reisterstown Rd., at Mt. Wilson Lane, on Monday December 26 at 11 A.M. Interment Oheb Shalom Memorial Park, Berrymans Lane. Please omit flowers, in mourning at (Greengate Condos) 7202 Rockland Hills Drive (21209), through Wednesday evening. BELL DAVIS (nee Heron) age 82, died suddenly at Glen Meadows Retirement Community, Glen Arm, MD. She was born December 28, 1922 in Essington, PA; daughter of the late John and Gertrude Ostien Heron. She attended Essington Township Grade School and was graduated from Ridgely Park High School in 1940. On March 5, 1940, she was united in marriage to Charles A. Davis. They lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida and Delaware before retiring in Nicholson, PA. She had recently moved to Glen Meadows Community to be close to her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Finch Hill Baptist Church, Greenfield Township (Carbondale) PA., where she was active for many years. As a part of the Ladies Missionary Group, she sewed dozens of patchwork quilts for the homeless, working on them in her own home when she was unable to attend meetings. She loved to sew, garden and study the Bible. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy and William Merrey (Glen Arm), a son Donald Davis, Redondo Beach, CA; five grandchildren; Katie and Amanda Merrey, Glen Arm, Erica Kelly, Traverse City, MI; Nicole and Randall Charles Davis, Redondo Beach, CA; two great grandchildren; Sierra and Keen Kelley, Traverse City, MI; a brother-in-law Roland Davis; a sister-in-law, Jane Heron, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, John Heron and an infant son. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in The Finch Hill Baptist Church, Route 106 at 247, Greenfield Township, PA, with the Rev. Daniel Henwood, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Sandy Bank Cemetery, Greenfield Township. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Glen Meadows Community for their help and support during the past eleven months and especially during Mrs. Davis' recent illness.
