On December 21, 2005, FRANK, beloved husband of Jean Thrasher; devoted father of Michael Thrasher, Sr. and wife Laura and Shelley Thrasher; dear brother of Richard Thrasher and the late Charles, Thomas, and Edwin Thrasher; loving grandfather of Megan, Tyler, Lilli and Michael Thrasher, Jr. Relatives and friends may gather at MILLER-DIPPEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6415 Belair Road on Friday and Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., and where Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 10:30 A.M. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery."TOP" TOPPER, of Ogden, UT, son of Guy Joseph Topper and Elsie Marie Zurgable, died of multiple myeloma on Dec 22, 2005. He was born in Gettysburg, PA on Nov 15, 1936. His parents and his granddaughter Misty Lee Topper preceded him in death. Top leaves behind his loving companion of 21 years, Ms. Dayna Jagger and their son Daniel K. Topper of Ogden, UT. Also surviving are Carolyn Topper and their six children: Kenneth A. (Robin) Topper, Asheboro, NC; Deborah L. Auld, Agawam, MA; Patricia M. Johnston, Agawam, MA; Theresa M. Topper, Farr West, UT; Michael T. (Dana) Topper, Reno, NV; and Robert J. (Mandy) Topper, Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are five brothers, four sisters, 14 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Top retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service. He worked for Sperry Corp. and for Cordant Technologies, Thiokol Propulsion division. He was also proud of his 23 years sobriety with AA. He was a long-time member of the American Legion, the VFW, and the Eagles. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Huntsman Cancer Institution (research). Interment, Arlington National Cemetery.
