Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Drug arrest -- Officer Larry Armwood was patrolling in the 1400 block of Mosher St. about 3 p.m. Wednesday when he observed a teenage male drop plastic vials on the ground. The youth, 17, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute the drug.

Robbery -- A man, 43, was removing tools from his car in the 1000 block of Stockton St. about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of his wallet containing $112.

Stolen vehicle -- A black 2001 Toyota Rav4 with tags 320M017 was stolen Wednesday in the 2400 block of McCulloh St.

Robbery -- A woman, 22, was walking in the 1800 block of Woodyear St. about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a large-caliber revolver robbed her of $13 and money orders valued at $350.

Stolen vehicle -- A blue 1994 Plymouth Voyager van with tags 476M182 was stolen Wednesday in the 1300 block of N. Gilmor St.


Robbery -- Police were seeking at least three men who assaulted a man, 32, in the 2400 block of E. Fayette St. with a metal pipe about 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, then stole his blue 1998 Cadillac with tags 1AF548.


Robbery -- A gunman robbed Harbor View Shell in the 1700 block of Russell St. of more than $400 and at least one carton of cigarettes about 7 p.m. Wednesday. While fleeing the station, the man dropped two $20 bills near the door.

Shooting -- A youth, 17, was reported in good condition at an area hospital after he was shot in a leg early Wednesday in the 4100 block of Eighth St. in Brooklyn.

Stolen vehicle -- A rented champagne-colored 2006 Saturn with tags 5BG CO2 was stolen Wednesday in the 4000 block of Eighth St., also in Brooklyn.

Baltimore County


Armed robbery -- A man who implied that he was armed with a handgun robbed Michael Angelo's Pizzas & Subs in the 7900 block of Harford Road about 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.


Arson -- Someone set fire to the contents of a trash can in a student restroom at Pikesville High School about 2 p.m. Wednesday, forcing an evacuation of the school for about 15 minutes.

Robbery -- A 16-year-old male student at Owings Mills High School in the 100 block of Tollgate Road reported that he was in a school locker room Tuesday afternoon when another male student robbed him of a $50 gift certificate and $240. There was no arrest.

North Point

Theft -- Shortly after new carpeting was installed in a house in the 7400 block of Holabird Ave. on Wednesday, the occupant noticed that two DVD players and a cable TV box were missing. The property was worth about $800.
