Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southeastern

Robbery -- Police were seeking three men, one with a handgun, who robbed a woman in the 200 block of S. Robinson St. early Sunday. The woman was walking past three men sitting on the front steps of a house about 2:45 a.m. when she was stopped and robbed of her purse containing $40, credit cards and personal property.

Robbery -- A female employee of Rite Aid was walking toward Provident Bank in the 3800 block of E. Lombard St. to make a deposit about 8:25 a.m. Sunday when three men knocked her to the ground, reached into her coat pocket and stole a bank bag containing an undisclosed sum of cash.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of E. Pratt St. on Dec. 14 while the occupant was away and stole an antique lobster-shaped bowl.

Western

Drug arrests -- Officer David White was patrolling in the 1800 block of Edmondson Ave. about 5:30 p.m. Monday when he saw what appeared to be a drug transaction between two men in a carryout. White stopped the men and seized two vials of suspected heroin from one. Arrested and charged with possession of heroin were Anton Lawson, 44, of the 5300 block of Norwood Ave. and Marshal Hendricks, 24, of the 400 block of Watty Court.

Robbery -- A boy, 16, was walking along Edmondson Avenue at North Bentalou Street about 5:40 p.m. Monday when he was assaulted by two older males who robbed him of $20 and a cellular telephone.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 700 block of Mansfield Road through a window between Thursday and Sunday and stole a DVD player, two rings and a laptop computer, together valued at $1,600.

Parkville

Theft -- Someone stole more than $150 worth of DVDs from the shelves at Blockbuster Video in the 7700 block of Belair Road on Monday.

Franklin

Robbery -- A woman, 45, was walking in the 11600 block of Reisterstown Road about 2 a.m. Monday when she was knocked to the ground by a man who stole her purse containing cash, a cellular telephone and keys, together valued at $120.

Robbery try -- A man attempted to steal a 70-year-old woman's purse at Reisterstown and Sherwood roads about 7:30 p.m. Monday, but fled when she held onto her purse after falling to the ground.

North Point

Robbery -- A woman, 56, was knocked to the ground in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. about 7:30 p.m. Monday by a man who stole her purse containing cash and property valued at $175. The woman suffered a minor knee injury.
