STATS -- McNeil is a four-year letter-winner who started the past three seasons and played a big role in helping the Mustangs win the Class 4A state title. The senior midfielder played more of a defensive role this season and was strong in the middle. McNeil helped C. Milton Wright shut down Walt Whitman in the Mustangs' 1-0 victory in the state final.

SIDELINES -- She's also a solid lacrosse player. McNeil played on C. Milton Wright's state championship lacrosse team as a sophomore and will be a presence there again this season. Her sister, Megan, worked her way on to the varsity soccer team this season and became a starter by season's end. McNeil isn't sure of her college plans.
