On December 16, 2005, CLAIRE ELAINE MILLER (nee Christian); born July 11, 1929 in Halethorpe, MD. Attended Ascension Grade School in Halethorpe and Seton High School in Baltimore. Worked several years for Catholic Charities and H.J. Heinz before marrying Francis A. Miller on November 6, 1954. Had six wonderful children, Carol Mox, Patricia, Kathleen Nunnally, Francis II, Joseph and Martin. Worked for Developmental Services Group of Howard County after children were grown. Retired in 1996 to do a little traveling and art work. Daughter of Thomas W. Christian and Mabel Margaret Heise; sister to Thomas Christian, Ruth Deboy and the late Dorothy Miller. Family will receive friends at WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE INC. 1630 Edmondson Avenue,(1 mile west beltway exit 14), on Saturday and Sunday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., where services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday. MURPHY, beloved husband of Frances Murphy (nee Fertitta); loving father of Denise Malinow and her husband Andrew M.; cherished grandfather of Matthew J. and Nicholas D. Malinow; dear brother of William Murphy, Jr. and his wife Emmaline and Donald Murphy. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
