On December 15, 2005, PEGGY M. GEISLER of Ellicott City; devoted wife of the late John A. Geisler, Jr.; loving mother of Barbaraellen Hanlon and John Anthony Geisler, III; cherished sister of Gene, Janice Lee and Margaret; loving aunt of Bobby Christley; loving grandmother of Matthew, Nicholas, Mandy and Maverick. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2005, 10 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church, 3604 Chatham Road, Ellicott City, MD. Family requests no flowers, but donations will be accepted by Ms. Geisler's Church, Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 8940, Suite D, Columbia Md. 21045 for a Child Abuse Center to be named later by family.beloved husband of the late Vernal E. "Peggy" (nee Kirk); devoted father of Ruth E. Lawrence of Ocean Pines, MD, Donna Lee Harrell of Jarratt, VA and John W. Gordon of Long Green, MD. Wes is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, daughters and sons-in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins in Maryland and Virginia. The Gordons had lived in Long Green, MD for 55 years and Wes was Manager of the Colonial Esso (Exxon) Gasoline Station at Joppa Road and Loch Raven Blvd for over 50 years. Wes had been a resident of Morningside Home since November 1999 and he was 88 years old. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (Beltway exit 26) on Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M., where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 A.M. Interment Wilson United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
