Matchup -- Blast (3-2) @St. Louis Steamers (3-2)

Time, radio -- 8:35, 680 AM

Outlook -- After dropping its first home game of the season, the Blast hits the road for two games in three nights, including Sunday's christening of Stockton Arena against expansion California. The Blast is tied for second place in the MISL with St. Louis, which is 3-0 at home and will try to prevent the Blast from winning its first road game. Blast forward Machel Millwood (knee) and midfielder David Bascome (turf toe) are out for at least two more weeks, and defender Steve Fell probably will miss the game with an ankle problem. Sandre Naumoski and David Shaun lead the Steamers in scoring with six points each. In its first meeting with St. Louis, the Blast overwhelmed former Baltimore goalie Brett Phillips by scoring a season-high 12 goals.
