I see that Buffalo Bills receiver Eric Moulds has returned to practice after a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team. That pretty much covers the entire Houston Texans squad. Or does that rule only cover off-field matters?
The Texans have brought in Dan Reeves as a consultant. For his first contribution to the organization, he demonstrated how to tick off John Elway.
Meanwhile, the Ravens want Kyle Boller to spend time with their staff psychologist. The first task will be keeping him from tripping over the couch. ...
Anyone notice how there must be 15 teams, at least, rumored to have interest in Nomar Garciaparra, including the Orioles? None of them wants him to play shortstop.
The Yankees are interested in signing him as a part-time first baseman, a position he has never played. The Astros want him in the outfield, the Indians like him as a first baseman and outfielder. The Pirates, Blue Jays and Dodgers see him as a third baseman, as did the Cubs last season.
The Orioles want him to inject some leadership into the clubhouse and the occasional B-12 into Miguel Tejada.
