Bayless, Thomas Hunt

TOM BAYLESS, age 59, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2005 as a result of complications sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 27, 1946 and is the son of the late William H. Bayless II and Elizabeth Hunt Bayless. He served in the United States Army, Signal Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and an HVACR educator at the Western Vocational Technical School in Baltimore. In 1977, he established an HVACR company, ABC Refrigeration, Inc., in Ocean City, Maryland. He grew his company into one of Ocean City's most respected and successful businesses. He was a member of the Ocean City Pleasure Club and a member of the VFW. He had a true love for the town of Ocean City and its "Good" People. He is survived by his wife, Diane S. Bayless; their combined families: Michelle, William, and Sydney Brinkmeyer; Prudence W. Sanders; Joell, Bob, Leo and Max Bacchieri; and Vicki, Billy, William and Sarah Szimanski. Also survived by sister Elizabeth Ferguson and brother William Bayless Jr. A memorial service will be held at11 A.M. on Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, Maryland. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tom Bayless to the Ocean City Police Department, 6501 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842. We are grateful for the gift of the life of Tom Bayless.
