Baltimore police are warning women in an area near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in West Baltimore to be on the lookout for a man suspected of robbing eight women - sexually assaulting some of them - since late October.

Police say the man has targeted women of all ages, using a handgun to rob them in what they describe as "crimes of opportunity" in an area bounded by Franklin Street to the north and Saratoga Street to the south, near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The attacks have occurred at night and in the early morning, police said. The man has committed the robberies on foot. The latest incident was yesterday morning.

Police advise anyone who sees a man who matches the sketch to call 911.
