Baltimore County: Interstate 95

Lanes and access ramps to be closed

State transportation officials are planning significant lane and exit closures tonight near the intersection of Interstate 95 and Interstate 695 in northeastern Baltimore County. Weather permitting, the left lane of northbound I-95 will be closed from Exit 64 (I-695) to Exit 67 (Route 43). The ramps from the outer and inner loops of I-695 to northbound I-95 will also be closed. The work is expected to last from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. tomorrow. A detour is planned, but officials warn of delays during the work.

Baltimore City: Post office

House votes to name facility for Del. Lee

The House of Representatives voted yesterday to name a Baltimore post office after former Del. Lena K. Lee, one of the first African-American women elected to the Maryland General Assembly. The post office, at 1826 Pennsylvania Ave., would be named for Lee, 99, who was a delegate from 1967 to 1982.

Carroll County: Finksburg

2nd arrest made in November robbery

A second suspect in an armed robbery at a BP gas station in Finksburg last month has been arrested, state police said yesterday. David Alan Martin, 18, of Finksburg was arrested Monday after being released from the Baltimore County Detention Center, where he had been held on an unrelated offense. Kevin Merle Barrow Jr., 18, of Finksburg was arrested Nov. 4. Both men were charged with robbery and assault.
