Player of the Year

Gabby Long

Bel Air

Last year's Harford County Player of the Year had a strong senior season, leading Bel Air to an Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference division title and to the regional semifinals. A two-year starter, Long, a hitter, got in 86 percent of her serves -- with 69 aces -- and had 75 percent of her hits get in along with 103 kills. Long also had 15 blocks. A left-handed hitter, Long is headed to Salisbury University to play next fall.

Coach of the Year

Angela Taddia

Havre de Grace

The Warriors improved from 8-6 last year to 12-3 this season and advanced to the regional semifinals. Working with a squad filled with underclassmen, Taddia helped them play well together throughout the season. The Warriors won the Edgewood Tournament in September, beating out the rest of Harford County, and built on that success for the rest of the season.
