It sounds like fun. It sounds logical. And it sounds like a perfect fit for the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival.

After producing a one-man A Christmas Carol (titled A Dickens of a Carol) for the past two seasons, this year the festival chose to combine Dickens' famous tale with a selection of Shakespearean quotations.

Something Dickens This Way Comes 7 p.m Dec. 20-21; 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays; 5 p.m. Sundays, Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, St. Marys Outreach Center, 3900 Roland Ave., through Dec. 23. Tickets $25. Call 410-366-8596 or visit baltimoreshakespeare.org.
