Armed man seen at Towson mall

Baltimore County police were seeking a man yesterday who dropped a handgun in the ground level of a garage at Towson Town Center on Dulaney Valley Road after shoppers reported the armed man to security officers, county police said.

The incident occurred about 4:15 p.m. Saturday in the parking area near Hecht's. Police, who released details yesterday, said the man dropped the weapon and ran from the garage moments before security officers arrived. The gun was turned over to county police.
