Vice-drug sting in Jessup nets 12 arrests

Howard County police arrested 12 people last week in a vice and narcotics sting operation in Jessup, police said Friday.

Using undercover detectives and surveillance teams, 11 people were charged in connection with the sale of drugs, and one was charged with soliciting an undercover officer for sex.

The suspects ranged in age from 20 to 45 and live as far away as Philadelphia.

Police said they recovered cocaine, PCP, marijuana, a handgun and $6,800.
