Francheska Guilfu scored the winning basket off a rebound with 10 seconds left in the third overtime to give visiting Goucher a 78-76 nonconference women's basketball win over College of Notre Dame last night.

The Gators (4-2) went up 76-72 with 3:25 to play in the final overtime on a driving shot by junior guard Katie Lawson, but Goucher scored the game's final six points.

Shadae Swan led Goucher (3-2) with 29 points. Monica Cherry had 18 points and eight rebounds for Notre Dame.

Johns Hopkins 67, Washington College 41 -- Amanda Leese led the visiting Blue Jays (6-1, 4-0 Centennial Conference) with 13 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. The Shorewomen fell to 1-6 and 1-3.

McDaniel 72, Gettysburg 69 -- Kristy Costa's career-high 28 points led the host Green Terror (4-3, 1-2) over the Bullets (3-4, 2-2) for its first Centennial win of the season.

Villa Julie 60, Gallaudet 29 -- Tanisha Foster scored 16 as the host Mustangs (4-2) beat the Bison (2-5).

Men

Catholic 67, Villa Julie 59 -- Anthony Fitzgerald had 20 points and eight rebounds, but the Mustangs (5-1) lost to the visiting Eagles (5-1).
