Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northern

Victim identified -- Police identified yesterday Thaddeus Riley, 43, of the 4300 block of Marble Hall Road as the man fatally shot Sunday night in the 3800 block of Ellerslie Ave. He died at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Eastern

Theft from vehicle -- A car stereo and a backpack containing clothing - all valued at $350 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Ford Explorer in the 900 block of N. Chapel St.

Robbery -- A man, 56, was walking in the 2700 block of Beryl Ave. about 9 p.m. Monday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of his coat, cellular phone, a gold chain and a wallet containing $365. The property was valued at $964.

Burglary -- A DVD player, leather coat, hair clippers, a radio and a cell phone - all valued at $726 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 1000 block of McAleer Court.

Southeastern

Robbery -- A woman, 35, was walking in the 200 block of Aisquith St. about 1 a.m. Tuesday when a man with a gun got out of a car and robbed her of her coat and keys.

Baltimore County

Wilkens

Drug arrests -- A Maryland Transportation Authority Police Officer stopped a 1996 Ford station wagon on southbound Interstate 95 near Caton Avenue about 12:30 a.m. yesterday because a passenger was not wearing a seat belt. The officer reported smelling the odor of burning marijuana coming from the car. A search of the vehicle revealed six bundles of marijuana hidden in the spare tire compartment in the trunk. Arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute were the driver, Carlos F. Perez, 28, of Burlington, N.C., and Anthony Shaw, 36, and Jaruls Lee Johnson, 33, both of Mebane, N.C. The car was impounded and the three men were being held at the county detention center in Towson.

Towson

Rape -- Police and Sheppard-Pratt Hospital officials are investigating the rape of a teenage female patient by a male patient, 17, that occurred at the hospital Tuesday morning. The girl was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

Burglary -- Someone entered a male student's room at Goucher College on Dec. 3 and stole a Connecticut driver's license and two bank cards. The bank cards were used to purchase food at a nearby McDonald's. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Stolen vehicle -- A gray, 4-door 2003 Toyota Camry with tags BVB 073 was stolen Tuesday from a parking lot in the 1000 block of Taylor Ave.

White Marsh

Burglary -- Video games valued at nearly $400 were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6000 block of Nahant Road by someone who entered through a rear basement window.

Stolen vehicle -- A 2004 Toyota Camry with Chesapeake Bay tags 54124BY was stolen Monday from the driveway of a house in the first block of Gungarth Court.
