Cookie walk, bazaar at Jenkins Memorial

Jenkins Memorial Church, 133 Riviera Drive in Pasadena, will hold its annual Christmas Cookie Walk and Christmas Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the fellowship hall. Homemade cookies and chocolates will be sold by the pound. Also today, WitnesSing, a Christian singing group, will hold a Christmas concert at 6 p.m. Information: 410-647-6210 or 410-437-2846.

Readings, carols at St. John church

St. John the Evangelist Church will offer "Lessons and Carols" at 3 p.m. today. Readings are combined with music by the Contemporary Music Ensemble. The church is at 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. Information: 410-647-4884.

Minister to be guest at interfaith church

The Rev. Robert McMillan will be the guest speaker today at Unity by the Bay Church. Greg Martins is the musical guest for the service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. The interfaith church is at 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, in the Severna Park Business Center. Information: 410- 544-7990.

Church will present `A Christmas Carol'

Unity by the Bay Church will present Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, performed by the Pasadena Theatre Company at 8 p.m. Dec. 17 at the church, 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park Business Center. All proceeds will go to the building fund. Tickets are $12, or $15 at the door; $10 for children 12 and younger. Information: 410-544-7990.

Redeemer church to serve turkey

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer is holding a turkey dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at the church, 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie. At 6:30 p.m., the church choir will present a program that includes carols. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and younger. Tickets may be bought at the door or by calling 410-766-8778.
