Hispanic chamber's board selects Palacio

Jose Palacio, a principal with the Columbia-based PCA Group accounting and financial services firm, has been named to the Board of Advisors of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

A certified public accountant with more than 20 years of experience, he joined the PCA Group in January.

The Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce works to bring the concerns of Hispanic-owned businesses to the state's economic agenda.

First Generation board picks Mitchell

Glenn Wilson, president and chief executive officer of Citizens National Bank, has announced that Tari Mitchell, portfolio manager, has been appointed to the board of directors of First Generation College Bound.

Mitchell has worked in the Rogers Avenue, Ellicott City, branch of the bank since 2004. Mitchell will serve on the First Generation College Bound board for three years.

The nonprofit organization works with low- to moderate-income parents, caregivers and students in the Baltimore-Washington corridor to promote college attendance.

Roche has new post with homebuilder

Laura Roche has been named field sales manager for the Ellicott City homebuilder, Grayson Homes.

She will assist the company's marketing and sales team with training programs for community sales managers.
