Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Robbery try/stabbing -- A man, 29, was walking in the 2900 block of Hollins Ferry Road about 11 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one armed with a knife, demanded his money. When the victim refused and began to struggle with the pair, he was stabbed in the left arm. The pair fled. The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released.

Theft -- Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of Ridgely St. on Wednesday and stole a bucket containing several tools.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house Wednesday in the 1200 block of Hollins St. and stole tools valued at $209. Entry was through a window.

Burglary -- A CD changer and more than $100 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of S. Arlington Ave. by someone who entered through a rear door.

Burglary -- Police were seeking whoever broke into a garage at House of Mercy in the 900 block of Hollins St. on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and removed Christmas gifts and cleaning supplies from a van.

Robbery -- A man, 61, was arguing with another man in the 700 block of W. Hamburg St. about 10 a.m. Wednesday when the second man robbed him of a cell phone valued at $140.


Shooting -- Police were near the 2900 block of McElderry St. about 9 p.m. Wednesday when they heard several gunshots and found a man, 28, bleeding from gunshots in the right leg, buttocks and groin. The man was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital and declined to provide police with a description of his assailant or a reason for the shooting.

Robbery -- A gunman robbed Sarah's Kabob Pizza in the 400 block of S. Broadway of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Robbery -- Police were seeking four or five teenage boys who attacked a woman, 38, as she walked in the 100 block of S. Bouldin St. about 7 p.m. Wednesday, knocked her down and robbed her of a purse containing $200 in cash and property.

Baltimore County

Robbery -- A boy, 15, was walking in the 6100 block of St. Regis Road about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of a cell phone and money - all valued at $342.


Robbery try/arrest -- Police arrested a 32-year-old man Wednesday and charged him with burglary and attempted robbery of a woman that day. The woman, 51, was at home in the first block of Stabilizer Drive in Aero Acres about 4 a.m. when a man armed with a handgun forced his way in and demanded money. Police said the woman pushed the man out of her house during a struggle and called police. Arrested at his home in the first block of Transverse Ave. in nearby Victory Villa was Steven P. Seifert. A BB gun believed used in the incident was recovered.


Burglary -- Police were seeking the person who entered a home in the 9400 block of Planetree Circle in Owings Mills on Monday and removed two TVs, 500 music CDs, a DVD player and a pair of tennis shoes. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
