A Pasadena husband and wife who stole Social Security benefits from the bank account of the wife's dead mother have both been sentenced to probation in federal court in Baltimore and must pay more than $65,000 in restitution. Michael Belcastro, 54, was sentenced yesterday to two years of probation for his role in pilfering Social Security funds that were mistakenly deposited in his mother-in-law's account for years after her death in 1997. In August, Belcastro's wife, Kimberly, 45, received a sentence of three years probation, with six months of home detention. Both pleaded guilty.
