Mary Virginia Hollmeyer and John Dexter Comly were married on November 19, 2005 at 3:00 pm at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. The Reverend Edward J. Sheridan officiated, assisted by Reverend David Taylor Drake. A reception followed at Myers Park Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jere Reddick Hollmeyer, of Charlotte, NC and the late Mr. Robert Crook Hollmeyer. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Smith Reddick, of Winter Haven, FL, and the late Mr. Howell Bitzer Reddick, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gerard Hollmeyer. Ginny graduated from Providence Day School, and earned a BA in Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently an Attorney Recruitment Manager for Vinson & Elkins in Washington, DC. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Guy Cesare, Jr., of Baltimore, MD, and the late Mr. Edward Joseph Comly. He is the grandson of Mr. George Washington Dexter, of Baltimore, MD, and the late Mrs. Patricia Stockum Dexter. John graduated from Gilman School in Baltimore, and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. John is an Associate with Thayer Capital Partners in Washington, DC. The bride was attended by Anna Rallis Kouba, of Washington, DC, as matron of honor.
