CERAMICS SHOW

Find an array of holiday-themed ceramics works, created by Anne Arundel Community College ceramics students and instructors, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at the college's Cade Center for Fine Arts, Room 219, 101 College Parkway, Arnold. 410-777-7495.

SYMPHONY HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Self-guided walking and driving tour of the professionally decorated Victorian homes in Glyndon, as part of the annual "Symphony Homes for the Holidays" event, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Event is presented by the Baltimore Symphony Associates. Park at the Glyndon Volunteer Fire Company, Butler Road, Glyndon, and tour the boutique, enjoy refreshments and pick up a map of the homes. CRAFT SALE

Pottery works from 25 local artists will be on display and for sale at the "Holiday Extravaganza" event, Saturday through Dec. 23 at Baltimore Clayworks, 5707 Smith Ave. Each Saturday, visitors can meet the artists and enjoy holiday refreshments. MOUNT VERNON HOLLY TOUR

Visitors can tour eight homes, three historic buildings and two churches, all restored and redecorated, in Mount Vernon, during the self-guided walking tour, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 4. Tickets $25 the day of the tour; $20 in advance. There will also be a Candlelight Tour, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, featuring holiday fare and entertainment in three homes not on the main tour. $100. 443-524-2370 or hollytour.com for tickets.

HOLIDAY EXHIBIT

Visit the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory, 100 Maryland Ave. S.W., Washington, through Jan. 8 and catch the exhibit "Season's Greetings From the National Mall." The Garden Court will be transformed into a replica of the National Mall, with model trains chugging along the tracks past Washington landmarks, including the U.S. Capitol, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials and the Smithsonian castle. The miniature landscape and buildings will all be created from natural plant materials. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Free. 202-225-8333.
