No. 4 Loyola (7-3) vs. No. 8 Calvert Hall (5-4)

What -- 86th Turkey Bowl

Where -- M&T Bank Stadium

Time -- 10 a.m.

Outlook -- A battle between two of the area's top quarterbacks will highlight this traditional Thanksgiving Day matchup of Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference rivals. Calvert Hall senior Andrew Robinson, who has orally committed to Syracuse, has passed for 2,368 yards and 11 touchdowns and rushed for another 517 yards and five scores. Loyola senior Joe Lennon, who will play lacrosse at Navy, has passed for 1,308 yards and 10 touchdowns, and rushed for 724 yards and eight more scores. The Dons (7-3 overall, 2-3 conference), who lead the all-time series 44-33-8, are looking for their third straight win against the Cardinals (5-4, 3-2) following last year's 21-13 victory. To get it, they will need to minimize the mistakes that have cost them, particularly in losing three of their past four games. "We need to minimize turnovers," said Loyola coach Brian Abbott, whose team is minus-7 this season in turnover ratio. The other key for both defenses will be limiting the big offensive plays that have become a staple for both teams. If they can't, this game has the potential to quickly turn into a shootout.
