VIOLA SALMOND of Easton died on November 16 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She was born May 31, 1923, the daughter of Jacob and Isabella Weislogel. Raised in Elizabeth, NJ, she worked in a secretarial capacity for Prudential and EM Waldron in Newark. She retired in 1989 from Salmond Construction Company of Wayne NJ. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gilbert C. Salmond and her sister Mildred Weislogel. She leaves three stepsons, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many friends. Donations in her name may be made to the building fund of the Presbyterian Church of Easton, 617 North Washington Street, Easton MD, 21601.
