BOYS

STATS -- Maliszewski just finished his fourth year on the Patriots' varsity volleyball team. He served as a captain and was one of the team's best all-around players. He played a big role in helping John Carroll win the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference title two years ago and has remained a force on the team.

SIDELINES -- The senior is a strong all-around athlete who also participates in indoor track in the winter and boys lacrosse in the spring. Maliszewski also is a drummer in the school band.
