Mill Centre artists, as well as select guest artists, will celebrate the 18th annual Holiday Arts Weekend by opening the center's doors to the public. Get a behind-the-scenes look at artists' pieces and workspaces by visiting the artists in their studios. Holiday gifts will be on sale.

Lexington Market's "Fresh Music at the Market" features music to satisfy anyone's tastes; from jazz to oldies to Cajun tunes, this concert series covers a variety of musical genres. The market features the Diane Postell Group on Friday, the Crawdaddies on Saturday, Charles Lee on Nov. 25 and the Yataruba Project on Nov. 26. In addition, more than 100 restaurants will be serving food.

SCULPTOR'S PERSPECTIVE

Get an artist's view on life when Bart Walter speaks Tuesday at Friends School about his experiences. Walter's sculptures have been displayed throughout the United States and Europe. Some of his work is reflective of his trips to Africa, where he drew and sculpted in the wilderness. A question-and-answer session will follow Walter's presentation.
