STATE

Richmond (6-3) @ Towson (6-3)

Time, TV/Radio -- Noon, Comcast SportsNet/89.7 FM

Series -- Richmond leads 1-0

Last week -- Towson beat Villanova, 40-19; Richmond beat VMI, 38-3.

Outlook -- Two of the hottest teams in the Atlantic 10 meet. Richmond, No. 18 in Division I-AA, has won five straight and clinched a share of the South Division championship with a 5-1 record. Towson has won four of its past five and is 3-3 in the South. The Tigers could grab a piece of the South crown with wins over Richmond and defending national I-AA champion James Madison to close out the regular season.

Johns Hopkins (7-2) @ McDaniel (5-4)

Time, radio -- 1 p.m., 1470 AM

Series -- Hopkins leads 43-35-5

Last week -- Hopkins lost to Hampden-Sydney, 49-20; McDaniel beat Muhlenberg, 13-6.

Outlook -- Although Hopkins has its first NCAA Division III football playoff berth wrapped up, the Jays have not won their first Centennial Conference title outright, thanks to a shocking loss to Ursinus two weeks ago. Hopkins could grab that elusive title with a win today. Longtime rival McDaniel's championship hopes were ruined by a four-game losing streak.

Frostburg State (6-3) vs. Salisbury (6-3)

What -- 7th Regents' Cup

Where -- Johnny Unitas Stadium, Towson

Time -- 7 p.m.

Series -- Tied at 16

Last week -- Salisbury lost to Widener, 31-28; Frostburg State beat Waynesburg, 17-10.

Outlook -- Frostburg State seeks its fifth straight win and a 5-2 record in the cup series. The Bobcats have upset two western Pennsylvania foes the past two weeks, and face a Salisbury squad that has lost two straight and might play a second straight week without talented senior RB Leroy Satchell.
