Girl guilty of murder attempt

A 15-year-old Baltimore girl was convicted yesterday of adult charges of attempted second-degree murder and carrying a deadly weapon in an attack in May on a teenage girl at a house in South Baltimore near Benjamin Franklin Middle School. Court documents said Keyona D. Dillon stabbed a girl, then 14, after saying, "Who wants to fight me?" Dillon is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 9 by Circuit Judge John C. Themelis.
