Trisha Yearwood
Acclaimed singer/songwriter Trisha Yearwood will perform music from her new CD, Jasper County, tonight at the Hippodrome. The new album is her 11th and, according to Yearwood, is introspective and more carefully considered than her previous work. "I've never taken this long to make a record," she says on her Web site. "I'd never completely started over on an album like I did on this one." The Hippodrome Theatre at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center is at 12 N. Eutaw St. Tickets are $33-$58.
