A Reisterstown man died early yesterday after crashing his motorcycle in an attempt to avoid a garbage truck, Baltimore County police said.

James Rarey III, 20, of the first block of Franklin Valley Circle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Reisterstown Road near Bosley Lane about 2:20 a.m. when he tried to lay the motorcycle down before it hit the truck, police said.
