O'Malley center offers activities

O'Malley Senior Center has announced the following activities:

Today, 10 a.m., Hospice of the Chesapeake will hold a discussion on the bereavement counseling services it offers.

Tomorrow, 10 a.m., a representative from the Baltimore Regional Burn Center will discuss why older adults are at higher risk for injury or death from fire and ways to prevent injury.

Tuesdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beginning Spanish lessons. Workbooks are $10 each. Registration.

Friday, Veterans Day, center closed.

Pascal center honors veterans

Pascal Senior Center has the following activities planned:

Tomorrow, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 12:30 p.m., commemoration of Veterans Day. Registration.

Friday, Veterans Day, center closed.

Monday, 10 a.m., discussion on financial aspects of end-of-life decisions, issues of estate and legacy management, as well as funeral options. Registration.

South County Senior Center will offer these activities:

Today, 1 p.m., Peter Frank presents an afternoon of music.

Tomorrow, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., computer workshop on holiday activities: cards, pictures and games. Registration is required.

Friday, closed for Veterans Day.

Monday, 12:30 p.m., talk on diabetes.

Tuesday, 10 a.m., Garden Club meets.

Tuesday, 1 p.m., Southern High School's International Thespian Society will present the comedy Lagooned.

Nov. 16, 1 p.m., autumn dance.

Nov. 17, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., computer workshop on holiday activities: cards, pictures and games. Registration is required.

Nov. 18, 10 a.m. to noon, computer workshop, anti-virus and Internet security. Registration is required.

Nov. 18, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., "Ask Your Computer Questions Workshop." Registration is required.

Nov. 22, Thanksgiving dinner. Reservations are required.

Nov. 23, 12:30 p.m., movie and popcorn.
