Schedule -- Through today

Course -- Raptor Course at Grayhawk Golf Club (7,108 yards, par 72).

Format -- Four of the top "young guns" age 30 and under from the United States face a team of international young guns in match play, a change from last year's medal-match format.

Players -- Zach Johnson is the only returner from last year's winning U.S. team, and he is joined by Ben Crane, Ryan Moore and Arron Oberholser. The four international players are Kevin Na (only returnee from last year), Tim Clark, Geoff Ogilvy, and Justin Rose.

Purse -- $780,000. Winning team's share: $400,000.

TV -- CBS (will air Jan. 2, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.)

Last year -- U.S. team won in a playoff.

Franklin Templeton Shootout

Site -- Naples, Fla.

Schedule -- Friday-Sunday

Course -- Tiburon Golf Club (7,288 yards, par 72).

Format -- Twelve two-man teams will play 54 holes in an alternate-shot format during the first round, better ball in the second round and scramble in the third round.

Purse -- $2.6 million. Winning team's share: $630,000.

TV -- USA Network (Friday, 4 p.m.-6 p.m.); CBS (Saturday, 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.), Sunday (4 p.m.-6 p.m.).

Last year -- Jeff Sluman and Hank Kuehne successfully defended their title, finishing 29-under for a two-stroke victory over Justin Leonard and Steve Flesch.

LPGA Tour

Tournament of Champions

Site -- Mobile, Ala.

Schedule -- Thursday-Sunday

Course -- Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Magnolia Grove Golf Course (6,253 yards, par 72)

Purse -- $850,000. Winner's share: $135,000.

TV -- The Golf Channel (Thursday-Sunday, 2 p.m.-4.30 p.m.).

Last year -- Heather Daly-Donofrio shot a 19-under 269 to win by four strokes over Laura Diaz.
