STEVEN "Steve" PAUL SCHRANK, 44, of Fort Collins, died October 30, 2005 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Steve was born August 3, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland to Helmut E. Schrank and Gladys I. Stout Schrank. Steve was raised in Baltimore, graduated from Hereford High School in 1979, and then attended Catonsville Community College, graduating in 1981 with an associates degree in Mechanical Design. He was then a designer for Northrup-Grumman in Baltimore for several years. He then moved to Ft. Collins three years ago. Steve married Michelle A. Jensen on October 8, 2005 in Fort Collins. Steve enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, enjoyed bicycle tours; loved the outdoors, and helping friends and relatives with projects at their homes. Surviving Steve are his wife of three weeks, Michelle Schrank of Ft. Collins; his father, Helmut Schrank of Baltimore, Maryland; a brother, Arthur D. and his wife Bonnie G. Schrank of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters, Janet L. and her husband Michael Gress of Ft. Collins, Linda J. and her husband Peter Olson of Spofford, New Hampshire; an aunt, Helga Gerber of Scottsdale, Arizona; nine nieces and three nephews, Tim, Beckie, Andy, Kate, Molly, Mollie, Buddy, Julie, Kellie, Christina, Renee, Jennifer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee and Judy Jensen of Ft. Collins; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lisa and Rory Rice of Ft. Collins. Steve is also survived by his best friends, Dave Lake and Lee Deboard. Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys I. Schrank. A visitation will be held Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 305 E. Elizabeth St., on Friday at 11 A.M. Rev. Brian Bestian will be officiating at the service.
