On Tuesday November 1, 2005 MARGARET L. "Peg" KEMP, 79, of Elkton, MD died at her home. Born in Washington, D.C. on January 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Reid S. Baker and Frances M. Crum Baker. Peg was a terrific cook, decorator and a noted artist. She painted numerous oils and watercolors in her lifetime. She attended Wilson Teacher's College and the George Washington University. Her greatest pride and joy were her three children. She was preceded in her death by her husband of 53 years, the late William G. Kemp. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Thomas L. Kemp and Mary, Elkton, MD, William R. Kemp and Suzy, Colorado Springs, CO, and Barbara K. Russell and William, Wilmington, NC; and nine grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 11 A.M. at the Elkton Presbyterian Church, 209 E. Main Street, Elkton, where visitation with the family will begin at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to the Elkton Presbyterian Church, in care of the Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St. Elkton, MD 21921.
