Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrest -- Shawn Blake of the 1500 block of N. Payson St. was arrested Monday in the 1800 block of N. Pulaski St. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a first-degree murder warrant. Blake, 19, also known as Corey Copeland, is charged with fatally shooting Kelvin Robertson, 25, in the 2000 block of N. Pulaski St. on July 8.

Robbery -- A 48-year-old man was robbed of $6 by two men about 7:30 p.m. Monday in a carryout in the 1600 block of Frederick Ave.


Shooting -- A 25-year-old man was sitting at a table outside his home in the first block of S. Ann St. about 5:20 p.m. Monday when a gunman fired several shots, hitting him in a leg and right shoulder. The victim was in good condition.


Robbery try -- Police were seeking two men and a woman who attempted to rob an 18-year-old woman of her purse about 8 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of John St.

Baltimore County


Robbery try -- A 13-year-old girl was knocked down in the 1700 block of Northwind Road about 7:30 p.m. Monday by five teenage boys and girls trying to steal her bag of trick-or-treat candy.


Robbery -- Four males, one armed with a handgun, attacked a man, 28, on Mount DeSales Road about 8:30 p.m. Monday and robbed him of a cell phone and clothing.
