On October 30, 2005, DOROTHYTHERESA JACKSON MILLER, loving daughter of the late Cecilia Banashak and Joseph Jackson; beloved wife of Charles Edward Miller; devoted mother of Carole M. Zendle, Alice M.L. Miller, Anne M. Shelley and John B. Miller; loving grandmother of Marc E. Zendle, Desiree N. Shelley and Barbara T. Zendle; dear sister of Esther Dott and the late John and Joseph Jackson. She is also survived by many cousins, family and friends. She graduated from the University of Maryland and its Law School in a combined accelerated 4 year program; passed the Maryland Bar before age 21; practiced law at her Parkville office for over 60 years and served as a State Representative in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1950 to 1958. She was the first woman ever elected to the Maryland House of Delegates from Baltimore County. Friends may call at the family owned Evans Chapel of Memories-Parkville 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 9 A.M. Thursday at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, Harford Rd., Parkville. Interment Moreland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Dr., Baltimore, MD 21236.
