Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrests -- Posing as a "John," Officer Michael Ogle, of the district's vice squad, arrested four women on charges of soliciting for prostitution at various locations between late Saturday and early Sunday. Karen Feifer, 33, was arrested in the first block of N. Collington Ave.; Sylvia McKennedy, 37, in the 100 block of S. Broadway; Brianne McLean, 28, in the 300 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.; and Heather Michael, 29, in the 2200 block of Eastern Ave. Police said Michael recognized Ogle from an earlier arrest and made a vain attempt to flee.

Robbery -- An 18-year-old woman was walking in the 100 block of N. Kenwood Ave. about 4:30 p.m. Sunday when a teenage male armed with a knife robbed her of a cell phone.


Robbery/arrest -- James Finch, 18, of the 4300 block of Roberton Ave., was arrested late Saturday and charged with robbing a man of $30 and a cell phone that evening in the 900 block of Bonaparte Ave.


Shooting -- A man was shot in both legs outside his home in the 300 block of Seventh St. in Brooklyn early Sunday. He was reported in good condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Burglary -- Someone entered Pickle's Pub in the 500 block of Washington Blvd. through a basement door Sunday and stole $300.

Theft -- A man entered Downtown Locker Room at Mount Clare Junction in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. on Sunday and fled moments later with several pairs of shoes - all valued at nearly $500.

Burglary/arrest -- A 35-year-old man was arrested Sunday and charged with breaking into a house in the 900 block of Ramsey St. that day and stealing circuit breakers, trash bags, tools and several vanity lights. Held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Allen W. Rivenbark of the 1700 block of Wilkens Ave.


Robbery -- A 28-year-old man was riding his mountain bike in the 1300 block of Edmondson Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when he was robbed of the bike by two men, one of whom struck him in the back and chest with a baseball bat.

Baltimore County


Burglary -- A .44-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun valued at $600 was stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 300 block of Glenwood Road.

North Point

Stabbings -- Police were seeking two known young females in the stabbings of two women during an altercation Sunday night at the victims' home in the first block of Fleming Drive. The victims were treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Robbery -- A gunman robbed a Royal Farms store in the 4000 block of North Point Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.


Burglary -- Jewelry, a laptop computer and a digital video disc player were stolen Saturday from a house in the first block of Ruxview Court.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the first block of Parliament Court over the weekend and stole a computer, cell phone and camera.
