Site -- Fort Worth, Texas

When, TV -- Sunday, 3 p.m., Ch. 11

Track -- Texas Motor Speedway (1.5-mile quad-oval)

Distance -- 334 laps, 501 miles

Last year -- The series has visited the Texas track every spring since 1997, but this is the inaugural fall race.

Drivers to watch -- With three races remaining in the season, Tony Stewart holds a 43-point lead over Jimmie Johnson. Greg Biffle, who is third in the standings, won the April race at the track. Johnson finished third in that race and Stewart was 31st. No driver has more than one Nextel Cup win at the track.

Quotable -- "I think as a driver and a team we've come a long way. I think the biggest thing that I've learned this year is patience, and it's starting to pay off." - Carl Edwards, who made the Chase in his first full Nextel Cup season and is fourth in the standings after winning yesterday in Atlanta.

Gran Premio de Mexico

Site -- Mexico City

When, TV -- Sunday, 3:30 p.m., SPEED

Track -- Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez (2.786-mile, 12-turn permanent road circuit)

Distance -- 63 laps, 175.5 miles

Last year -- Sebastien Bourdais won the race from the pole position, beating Bruno Junqueira by 4.6 seconds. A.J. Allmendinger finished third.

Drivers to watch -- Entering the final race of the season, Bourdais has clinched the series championship for the second year in a row. In the three seasons the series has been running at the track, Junqueira has finished no worse than seventh.
